The Rangers start their chase in the year 1894 for a Ranger killer

that will take them through five months of tracking before they

find their man.

The title of "No Man In The Wrong" is a statement made by a

Frontier Battalion Co. "B" Captain named Bill McDonald.

A FELLOW WHO IS IN THE RIGHT AND JUST KEEPS

ON A COMIN."

 

When a Texas Ranger is killed in South Texas Captain Hayes

of Company "D" sends Ranger John Books accompanied

by three younger Rangers to bring back the killer Charlie

Carter dead or alive. Their chase takes them from the Rio

Grande Valley along the Rio Grande North into the Big

Bend country and through out West Texas. They just will

not quit until their job is completed.

The movie "Bass Outlaw"

 

Bazel Lamar Outlaw better known through the

Texas Ranger ranks as "Bass Outlaw." This is

a true story of his service with the Texas Rangers

and his short stint with the U.S. Marshal Service

in El Paso, Texas. Bass had a problem with his

temper and the use of alcohol and with the two

combined he was a holy terror. But when there was

a big fight the Rangers always wanted Bass with

them. Bass was an effective Ranger and got the

job done but he was on a collision course that

could not be stopped.

The Rangers gather to have one of the most famous group photographs

ever taken of the Co. "D" Texas Rangers. The photo was taken in 1887 in

Realitos, Texas.

Ms. Tilly who ran a saloon in El Paso where Bass Outlaw hung out.

Bass Outlaw (standing) is shot by Constable John Selman (far left)

after Bass has killed a fellow Ranger Joe McKidrict far right. The shooting

takes place April 4, 1892 at the back of Tilly's Saloon. Bass later dies

a short time later in the back room of a saloon . His last gasping words before

death were "Where are all of my Friends?"

This is the Colt single action pistol that belonged to

Texas Ranger Bass Outlaw. This is the pistol that killed

Ranger Joe McKidrict and shot Constable John Selman

on April 4, 1892.
